Forrest “Bud” Clark accepted Christ as Savior on December 4, 1980 at age 30.  Bud and his wife Betty have one son, one daughter, and two granddaughters.  Although Bud was raised in a Baptist church in Massachusetts, he never accepted the free gift of eternal life.  In 1972 he graduated from Michigan State University, married Betty, and began a 20-year career as an Army officer.  Bud came to know the Lord while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.  The following year he began teaching Sunday School, continuing to do so at each new post during the remainder of his Army career.  Upon retiring from the Army in 1992, Bud began his second career as a math teacher, settled in Lacey and began attending Lacey Chapel.  During his time here at Lacey Chapel, he has taught Sunday School and served as an Elder, including serving as the Chairman since 2001.
